This undivided back postcard presents a historic multiview titled Central New York in the Revolution. The card highlights several important Revolutionary War sites and figures, including Oriskany Battlefield, the grave of General Herkimer, the grave of Baron von Steuben, the Herkimer residence near Little Falls, and Colonel Peter Gansevoort of Fort Stanwix in Rome New York. The monochrome printing and layout reflect early twentieth century patriotic souvenir design. The card shows age toning and corner wear, consistent with undivided back postcards produced between 1901 and 1907. An excellent item for collectors of Central New York history or early military-themed souvenirs.
