This vintage postcard features a detailed early 1900s view of Main Street in Herkimer New York. Storefronts line the street with large display windows and a horse drawn wagon pauses along the curb. Overhead utility poles and tree lined sidewalks complete this classic small town streetscape.
The postcard is postmarked 1910 and includes period handwriting and a one cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. A strong example of Mohawk Valley history and early commercial architecture.
Normal wear for an old postcard. There may be corner bumps creases or light postal ink.
