This undivided back postcard offers an early Rotograph view of Otsego Lake and its pleasure boats in Cooperstown, New York. Copyright 1905 and printed in Germany, the card shows wooden docks, rowboats, and rolling heavily wooded hills along the shoreline. The postcard is postmarked Rochester Mills Pennsylvania in 1909 and carries a one cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. Light toning and small stains are present along with gentle corner wear. This is an appealing historic lakefront postcard and a strong example for collectors of Otsego Lake, Cooperstown ephemera, or early Rotograph series images.
