This early real photo postcard shows the Wallace Hagenbeck Circus elephant parade making its way through Peru, Indiana. The line of elephants is fully decorated and accompanied by handlers as they march along a street with early streetcar rails visible. The handwritten negative caption reads Part of Wallace Hagenbeck Parade Peru Ind. The postcard is printed on AZO four square stock dating from 1910 to 1930.
