This antique St Patricks Day greetings postcard features a scenic view of Ross Castle in Killarney, Ireland framed by embossed shamrocks and ornate floral decorations with gold highlights.
The artwork is credited to John Winsch, a well known designer of early holiday postcards. The card was printed in Germany and displays the richly embossed style typical of high quality European postcard production of the early twentieth century.
Condition: Normal wear for an old postcard. There may be corner bumps, creases, or light surface wear. This example also shows light age toning and a small stain on the back.
