Standard size postcard with Winsch-like back design posted NYC 1914.
The cover reads "Best Wishes for a Most Happy Thanksgiving" and is adorned with embossed autumn leaves. A red ribbon ties in two inner pages the first says "Glad Thanksgiving Greeting," the next is a poem from Lucy Larcom: "Thanksgiving stirs her ruddy fire, The glow illuminates November, She sees new glimmering of desire, Flash up from every fading ember." The back of that page has a castle on it and the inside of the postcard has a house scene with tree and sailboat in the distance at sunset.
