An unusual vintage Atlantic City souvenir known as an American Color Barometer, featuring an illustrated boy and girl with a real fabric skirt designed to indicate changing atmospheric conditions.
The printed verse explains that the girl's skirt appears blue during dry and fair weather, pink during stormy or humid conditions, and violet when a change in weather is expected.
