The German caption on the front reads: “Endlich ein wenig Sonne” Translation: “Finally, a little sunshine.” The photograph is credited to Heinrich Kunst of Adelheide. The reverse includes detailed German photographic information describing the camera, lens, plate and exposure used to create the image. It also carries advertising for Photo-Post of Nuremberg and its “35-Pfennig-System.”
