Up for sale is a lot of 5 vintage matchbook covers from the Imperial Restaurant, located at Dunkirk & Wright in St. Catharines, Ontario. All five share the same classic "girlie waitress" design a stylized woman in an apron serving a bowl and are printed in five different colors: pink, silver/gray, yellow, blue, and the green fifth cover rounding out the set.
Printed by Eddy Match Co. Ltd., Pembroke, Ont. one of Canada's most recognized matchbook manufacturers. All covers carry the "Licensed" designation and advertise real home cooking, full course meals, and light lunches, with parking for customers.

Condition: Good to Very Good overall. Some minor aging and toning consistent with storage. The graphic design is clear and legible on all five covers. A nice color-variant set from a well-known St. Catharines restaurant collectible for both Canadian matchcover enthusiasts and girlie advertising collectors.
