Lot of 2 original antique tintype photographs, both approximately carte-de-visite size.
The first tintype shows a full-length studio portrait of a standing man in a suit posed beside a chair. It measures approximately 2.25 x 3.5 inches.
The second shows a woman and young boy posed outdoors, apparently seated near a rustic rock or garden backdrop. It measures approximately 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
Both are original period photographs on thin metal plates and are being sold together as one lot.
Condition: Antique condition with age-related wear. The woman-and-child tintype shows noticeable surface deterioration, spotting, edge wear and image loss/darkening, particularly around the lower and outer areas. The man's portrait is clearer overall but also has scratches, surface wear and age-related imperfections. The backs show oxidation, discoloration and residue; one has faint writing near the top. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
