Beautiful antique John Winsch birthday postcard dating to 1912, produced as an elaborate multi-page fold-out greeting.
The front features large red carnations with green foliage, a red ribbon binding, and the greeting “A Happy Birthday.” The card opens to reveal embossed floral panels, gold printed greetings and verse, decorative illustrations, and a final color scene of red flowers beside a peaceful waterside landscape.

The first interior greeting reads “Still with You in Thought and Wish” and is handwritten to “Aunt Annie” from “Ella.” A later page contains a birthday verse credited to H. M. Burnside. The reverse is handwritten and addressed to Mrs. Annie Hammond of Belvidere, Illinois.
