An elaborate antique John Winsch birthday postcard dating to 1913, designed as a multi-page fold-out greeting booklet.
The front features a large arrangement of red and pink carnations with green foliage and a decorative “Birthday Greetings” banner. Embossed borders and a red ribbon binding add to the dimensional design.
Opening the card reveals several decorative panels with embossed and cutwork floral designs, gold printed greetings and illustrations, a friendship message, a birthday verse, and a final color pastoral landscape scene.
